LightBoxes are my response to light shining through stained glass in sacred places and my fascination with the transformation of light through color and form.
The lens of a Light Box is made of carved pine, infused with india ink and smothered with epoxy flavored with secret herbs and spices.
The sides and tops of the light box are cedar with laser engraved patterns coated with tung oil and finished with wax.
Imagine the window that the lightbox would sit in.
at home, at work or as a gift.
In order to bring about a transformation in the field,
energy and information must be exchanged.
